Sorry it's taken so long for me to get this out!  I pretty much just skipped one biweekly feature, as it's been almost a month since my last one.  I never found the time to actually sit down and write this.

So we're doing something new with featured artists!  First of all, I've slightly changed up how I'm going to pick them.  Since I want the members to actually benefit from this, I'll mostly be choosing from the people who I've seen commenting and submitting art over the time that I'm deciding who it'll be.  And now, the featured artists don't just get a journal entry!

Every featured artist will be able to submit a few of their best works of art to the featured folder for everyone to see.  So, this biweek's featured artists, when you see your names on here you can choose 3 or 4 of your best works to put them in that folder!

The first feature this week goes to CorenB

Social Ladder [Crescendo] by CorenB Spirit Day, A Leaf in the Snow by CorenB [Commission] Rain in the Night by CorenB Princess of the Roses [Crescendo] by CorenB

A wonderful anime-style artist whose point commissions are open!  The poses are beautiful, as are the atmospheres of the deviations!

The second features goes to BotaniRaver

Blayzee Mission 1 by BotaniRaver Blayzee Painting by BotaniRaver At The Bar by BotaniRaver Destroy You by BotaniRaver

She's actually a very good friend of mine, and I love her style!  It's a style I haven't yet seen any other artist use.  Her point commissions are open, and her prices are (in my opinion) ridiculously low for the quality of her art.

So go check both these artists out, and commission them if you feel like it!  Viri and soyasushi, you can now submit some of your favorite art to the featured folder!

Now, onto the second topic, if anyone's still reading this far.

Today is the deadline for the contest, or at least the one that Sang and I set down for you all.  But unfortunately, we only have three entries thus far.

I'd be willing to extend the contest by another few weeks, but only if anyone's actually interested in entering!  Please comment yes or no as to whether you would participate in the contest if I extended it another week.  I'm surprised that we have so few entries in, and I'd really like to see more art from you guys.

I'm also wondering why people aren't participating.  Is it just the theme of the contest itself?  Are you just not interested in contests?  Or do you not like the prizes?

I'd really like to know so when we do more contests in the future we can make it as wonderful as possible for all of you!

Anyway, so that's it!  Thanks all!

Hmm... alright xD. Maybe the next contest will be something more human, a theme that a lot of different people can interpret to their own styles!

I'd be interested in entering, however, I'd like the prizes to be a bit more... tangible. Such as points, DA gear, or other artist related items.

Yeah, I understand that, that's what I thought a few people didn't like about it. My problem is that I personally have like 0 points. The point was for people to donate some prizes, but there weren't many people who actually did that.
